Rules
- Fly fishing only – Bait fishing and spinning are prohibited.
- Mandatory use of barbless or crushed barb hooks.
- Mandatory catch and release.
- A condition of membership is the submission of a catch return at the end of the trout fishing season.
- All persons fishing the Associations waters must hold a valid EA rod licence.
- Dogs are not permitted on any of the beats under DAA’s management.
- Anglers are expected to observe the countryside code.
- Salmon fishing is fly only, with a maximum of two hook points.
- Grayling fishing is fly only and on specific beats as listed on the web site.
- Please review the beat maps and ensure you fish within the designated boundaries on these maps.
- Guests may only fish if accompanied by a member.
- All persons purchasing a ticket to fish shall be deemed to have read and accepted these rules.
- Membership runs from the 1st of January each year.
- The DAA committee have the power to expel members for breaching the aforementioned rules.
